The Melrose Directory To Support The Launch Of The MK People Awards

The Melrose Directory is excited to support the launch of the MK People Awards in celebration of Milton Keynes’ 50th birthday.

On November 13, MK Council will recognise the outstanding people who have helped make Milton Keynes a fantastic place to live and work.

Founder of The Melrose Directory, Stewart Elsmore said: “I’m very proud to support the MK People Awards which will recognise those who have gone above and beyond to make Milton Keynes a better place.

“After launching The Melrose Directory in Milton Keynes last year, I know what a special place it is – filled with inspirational people who are all helping to put MK on the map.”

The People Awards

Nominees will be invited to the awards evening being held at the Civic Offices.

Councillor Alex Walker, is the one who has come up with this inaugural event. He said in a recent article, “This has been a great year for Milton Keynes.

“We know that it’s our people that make MK what it is, so what better way to bring the year to an end than with the MK People Awards.”

Nominations are still open and spilt into six different categories

1. Young Achiever
2. Sport
3. Health
4. Charity
5. Diversity and Equality
6. Community

If you know someone who deserves recognition for going the extra mile in the above categories, nominate them now! We’re going to be putting our nominations through ASAP!

Nominations close at midnight on Thursday 12 October.
